Just looking for feedback from people who have changed from a Traditional OWB to a indoor type gasifier with storage.
It was my first winter with my used taylor 450. I used less wood than I thought I would but I am wondering if I should make the jump to a gasifier before my final install. I would like to cut down on smoke and creosote, especially now that I am in the longer smoldering days.
So, if you have made the switch;
Is your wood consumption noticeably less with gasifier?
Can you get full 24 hour winter days on your storage tank?
Does the need to burn smaller dry wood become a issue?
Are you glad you made the switch, would you do it again?
