Anyone Know anything about Mono chainsaws?

I am trying to find any information I can on Mono chainsaws. The company was in Springfield MO and produced during the 50s and 60s. Beyond that I don't know much. If anyone knows of anything or knows anyone who may be able to shed some light on this for me, let me know please. Thanks

mono saw

go to "chainsaw collectors corner" and you will find everything you need. They were PP engines AH47 common to many saws....nothing special about those.....straight pipe muffler...very loud

Many of these old brutes used the monster ah-81 power products motor. 130+ cc's yeeee-haaah.

Treenabe. Here's a pic of mine. It's a Mono 85. 7.98 cu in (131 cc). Resstored to running conditon and repainted. Lewis.

Hoss,I have two of those old brutes, one red with mono label on gas tank, the other one has a tag with tecumseh power products H81 and is brown. Does anyone know anything about them.
