I've got a small dealer near me that I've never really liked who is getting ready to shut his doors. Does anyone know his cost on a 6701?
John...

6701? Is that like a CS 670? I have a couple of those saws and they have good grunt (kind of like older 4 cu in saws) and also are great oilers. Judging from what I paid for mine at a discounted price I would GUESS dealer cost is around 400. I believe ECHO is an excellent brand. Their basic straight shaft trimmer is excellent!:)

Hundred bucks seems high..they are only asking round $450 for a new CS-670 around here. They are comparable to a 365 Husky and for that price they are
a steal. I can't believe the dealer price is around $350. Then you would see
the "bargin" type dealers selling them in the $400 range. I haven't
seen that.
