Is it true that apples do no "breed true"? If you take 10 seeds from the
same apple, plant them, and grow 10 trees,
each tree will produce a different kind of apple? Please advise. Thanks!!

This is true with most hybrid plants. They are cloned or taken as cuttings (scions) and grafted to hardy root stock.

If you plant a seed form one of these trees you are likey to get something resembling the parent stock.
