I would like to no the best way to grow an apple tree from seed. Can you get
the seed out of the apple that you buy in a store. Love to hear from you

Hi Brandon,
We have been busy with cherry harvest here in Michigan and haven't checked in for a while. You can grow an apple tree from a seed, and yes the apples you buy in the store are fertile.
Apple varieties don't grow true to seed, so what you get is anybody's guess.

I started with 72 seeds and only 6 germinated but now they are rather large healthy seedlings.
