At last!

May 3 at wake-up, opened up the stove and let the remains of the overnight fire burn out. No fire in the past 27 hours. First full day of no fire this year. Too bad I don't have any "shoulder season" ready to go as I am sure we will be wanting a fire at least a few more times.

"no fire" didn't last long. Had to fire it up again at 3 pm. Probably will need evening/night fires for awhile yet.

96 hours with now fire now. Long range forecast shows more of the same weather till next Wensday.
