looking for ideas on how and where to attach auxillary oiler tube to the bar.
i have the reservoir and tube in place and have tried to jb weld an insert into a 1/8" drilled hole near the off end but the jb wont hold. and a 42" bar definitely needs auxillary oil. have been just letting it drip onto the chain/bar after the chain comes off the wrap end. makes a mess.

what does everyone else do?

checked the search and only picked up 1 idea bout a bolt w/ the center drilled out to the head then a lateral hole to the grove. is this the best method?

The bolt with the hole in it works well. A drill press will make the job easier. Then if you grind the threads off the end of the bolt, just slightly, the rubber hose will be able to be pushed on without falling off. Aggiewoodbutcher has done something a little different. If you search threads he created about GB CSM's you will be able to see his method.
