bandit 250 lift cy issue

ok i sold the 1986 BB 100 and bought the 2004 BB 250 xp its a beast compare to the 100 and im happy as well as my crew,,,, it has 700hrs and im having abit of trouble with the lift cylinder,, it seems to work fine and then it does not work at all ,,, it has down pressure, but once in awhile it will not open at all ,, any ideas thanks in advance R

The control valve might be worn or contaminated with debris.
700hrs . . . I would change the hydraulic fluid and filter.
