I was just messin with ya bout the load. I under stand about the rounds. We get free firewood trees all the time and usually they are over 24" Some of the last ones we did, we had a small ford tractor that couldnt keep the front end down, because of the weight of the rounds. Had to quarter them with the 084, just so I could get them on the splitter. That reduced the time probably by 1/3. Because with the whole rounds there was no way to split in half, you just had to take off slabs and it was takin 10-15minutes or better to get one done.

im taking a break from splitting right now, and am dealing with the bis stuff, have been ripping them in half with the 064 all day untill they are manageable. hard work i tell ya.

It can be hard work noodlin, but it sure saves the back. Well, lol guess it just depends, if youd rather bend over for a while or just through out the back loadin up the rounds
