I want to turn on my 007 taco pump, problem is it gets its power off of my oil boiler when it calls for heat. I want run a TT buy itself. I was thinking of a Taco switching relay. I really don't know where to turn. Everyone I talk to I get :monkey: Would it be easier to run another taco pump wired to its own power and TT? I know what I want. I want to run it at 75 and keep the heat going nonstop. Thanks guys.

I will asume TT is thermostat?

Just use a simple line voltage wall stat,.. It will handle no more than that Taco will draw.

ericjeeper- Yes. So your saying I run a simple line voltage wall stat to pump? Will the pump run? There will be no power there and what if the oil burner kicks on sending power to the pump?

SPDT relay. NC contacts for use when boiler commands the pump to run, NO contacts close to turn pump on when relay is energized by a wall switch/timer/whatever.

Confused yet?
