I saw these in a store today and it looks like they would handle 1/2 inch rope just fine.

For redirecting a pull line, sure.
Don't confuse these with a real rigging block.
Also says 3/8 capacity, which is probably steel so 1/2 rope may fit ok but need to be careful not to cut the jacket on any sharp edges.

You can find a better product than those on Amazon for less. Like this one which is greasable. Pay attention when ordering items like this because some are rated for their working load limit (WLL), some are rated by a safety factor of the breaking strength which is usually 4:1 or 5:1, and some are just rated by breaking strength.
