Ive never picked up a saw before , never tuned a carburetor, didnt know a thing about cutting. The resources here are great so i wanted to say thank you.
Picked up this saw at what I was told is a very fair price, 400CAD. I'm inclined to agree. I didn't even know what it was but I needed a firewood saw
Ramble ramble ramble, lots of reading, a bit of cleaning, and a few minor mistakes I think I have it all dialed in and she really is a monster. Max temp reading 288. Max rpm 12something
After I was sure it felt right I let her cool then cleaned off the plug and ran her hard for a good few minutes just singing and this is the result
Temp after 190, Max rpm just shy of 12 and she snaps to it like a scalded rat. I think the plug is that chocolate brown I read about too.
Conversely if she blows up I demand restitution
