I ended up with Fine Woodworking's book "Wood and how to Dry It" The Taunton Press ISBN # 0-918804-54-x
It has several article's on both drying wood and chainsaw milling and is worth the $10 it sells for. Might be a good read while your searching for the chainsaw lumbermaking book.
