The GF was at work so I built this 372 from parts on the kitchen table.
The dremel got wrapped up in the tassels on the throw rug and was burning up, that was the only thing that went bad. Better clean up the evidence before she gets home.

I don't see a problem with it at all. My reloading press is mounted to my kitchen counter, my new saw lives there since Friday, I have skinned foxes and otters on the kitchen counter, cleaned deer and bear skulls there, etc... My wife gave up yelling at me for that kind of thing years ago. Except for the whole deer brains in the garbage disposal fiasco.

Lol. Isn't that what they meant when they said, "cut a tree down?" It only took three beers to build it. It was a ported cyl., but I can't recall where it came from, maybe Cahoon, it was in a box of parts he sent me. Probably a reject! Lol
Anyway, it has a 8T and 24" bar. 20" would be better. The chain was a A1 Carlton filed twice.
It seemed to bog in the cut, but I think it was just clogged with noodles. lol TG I finaly found my charger for the vid camera.

Haven't done that yet! Lol
Butchered a moose or two though in the kitchen, but not with the saw!

She's cutting nicely, Yukon! I prefer working on my stuff in the kitchen. Cold drinks available, parts washer (aka dish washer) Good lighting. All kinds of cleaners under the sink, good ventilation for solvents (stove hood) plus the stove is right there for powdercoating and curing paint.

I hear ya Kodiak, It also gives the table that sought after distressed look and the spilled gas gives the finish that desirable patina that otherwise costs so much to duplicate.

Lol, hi Thall, I was trying not to use up too much footage and I thought the tree might piss it's roots, but I let it live as it's just a flesh wound! Lol
It took me 17 minutes to upload that vid. Can they be cropped on youtube?
It's been so long since I've done vids.

The saw looks good gypo, but wilbur stole the show as far as im concerned. Does the snow ever melt up there?
Wiggs, the snow only seems to melt on the side exposed to the sun. It's good for getting into the bush on the north side, but still deep on the south side.
Maybe I'll take out the base gasket and see if it runs better.

I haven't a clue how they edit videos. I use a little Sony camera where all I know is push that one button. It records untill I push it again.

Some of the guys in here are pretty savy with those cameras, someone will chime in on how you do it.

If I had been that tree I would had hauled buggy, that 372 chew that tree up pretty good, great running saw,:cheers:
