caddy pads

I just got a set of caddie pads in the mail this morning, messing around in the house I noticed they are rubbing by shins allot (More moving my jeans around and being quite painful)

any advice? running the L pads I wore long socks most of the time, should I continue to do so with the opsals?

I also ran folded up felt inside my L pads to give some cushion, worked excelent

update: took them for a test ride (jeans and long socks are a good combo)
I almost forgot I was wearing them, your leg just becomes one with the spur, making for an excellent climb
