I have been asked to post some pics of CA biggies before and never have. If one would like to see more pics just ask. I have done quite a few trees this size, and each time I do one I always say it will be the last cuz they beat the #### out of me emotionally and physically.
This tree was one of my first in the 6ft+ DBH range in 2006. People will immediately notice some ANSI and safety inconsistencies, this tree was done on a shoe-string budget in a pinch with borrowed gear and a subcontractor who was not what he said he was. Excuses aside, the location of the tree (leaning over the house) and the size (still 4ft+ diameter at 130 feet) speak for itself.
Specs : 175ft tall , 7.5ft in diameter , Jeffrey Pine, 1 yr dead , ~600 years old
