Can someone help me identify this 026?

Need to get parts for this chainsaw, doesn't have any serial number I can see they've faded away etc.

Not much to go by: those markings only tell the cylinder came off a 026. 024's were stamped W2 44NZ19 however, so you haven't been shortcharged.

Anything else you can tell us? Any more clues you can give us?

That doesn't help much either: it's merely the Underwriters Laboratories code for a chainsaw that passed their safety tests.

The serial on most Stihl saws, including the 026, is etched on the right side, near the muffler. It's usually covered by a layer of exhaust soot, sawdust and dirt of sundry origins. You can make it readable again by using an old toothbrush soaked in kerosene or diesel fuel.

Oh, its one of those famous 311Y saws, very rare.....LOL
We really need a pict of the saw body, top cover will tell a lot as the shape of the top cover is different between the 026, MS260 and 024.
