So last night I was getting ready to rebuild the carb on my Poulan, a Zama C1M-w26c. I have a spare valve and diaphragm from re-doing a string trimmer a while back (carb kit came with 2 rebuild sets) What I don't have is the gaskets that goes between the two carburetor parts. (Between the body & the part that sticks up in the back in the pic) All the carb kits I see don't have this gasket. All the saw parts diagrams I've seen seem to consider this part of the carb. I don't want to buy a new carb just for the gasket. Can I just use some RTV?

Looks like a common poulan gasket with a couple of tiny holes in a different location. Any shop should have spares of the original gasket that they would likely give you one.

Thanks Harley, I think I have it covered, I picked up a roll of fiber gasket material at the auto store. I should have enough to make a hundred now.
