Chain Bars

Hello everyone ,
I have a Stihl MS 280 C which came fitted with a Stihl 3003-000-6813 Bar.
I also have a Stihl 3005-000-4713 Bar. Both are 40 cm bars.

As I have the -4713 bar is it possible to fit and use in in place of the 6816 or what exactly are the differences between both bars ?

Anyone have 3000-000-6813 to sell ?

Offer up the original & replacement bars with the inboard ends together & see if all the slots/holes etc are the same size & line up, if they are/do & the quoted on the replacement bar chain size is the same you should be good to go, if the chain pitch is the same but the guage is different a new correct size chain should get you up a running Im sorry I'm not up with Stihl pt#'s

As one is a 3003 (medium Stihl) mount bar and one is a 3005 (small Stihl) one, the mount area of the bars will be very different.

There is no way you can make a 3005 bar work on a 3003 mount saw like the MS280.

You will also notice that the "40cm" (16") 3005 bar is quite a bit shorter than the "40cm" 3003 bar and is meant for 5dl less (in .325) if you compare them.
