I've had an Oregon chain mesuring chart for years now but have never had to use it. Originally it came with instructions for placing the chart under plexiglass in a depression routed into the top of your workbench, along with some other instructions. :monkey: But I can't find the instructions. Any help with this would be appreciated. As long as we're at it, some pics of your chain, meauring/breaking/spinning/sharpeing set up would be nice. Peace.

I set mine up (years ago) at the back wall of a bench at the end of the bench. Under the bench-end were the rolls of chain. With nails holding the chart to the wall, it was easy to string out the chain on the nails and match the count.

Here is a trick that I am sure I could not do today, but hold a loop up the the chart and add like 5 (that number is a guess) it took some time, but it was possible to guess smaller loops DL count that way.
