Good day all,

I know this is may not be the right place to ask this question buy, its the closest i could find on the forum.

Basically, im look for a new pair of safety pants and have narrowed it down to two and was just wondering if anyone has any reviews, recommendations or feedback on either pants. The two i am looking at are the stihl function universal pants and the Clogger defender pro pants. So if you have any experience with either of both let me know.

Keep in mind, i cut allot of firewood! I only work on the ground, i cut almost exclusively in cool to cold temps and in dense woods on rugged unevel terrain so range of motion and confort are Important. Also, i am on a budget and these two are in my price range.

The pants are very similar in protection, i believe the stihl may offer an extra few hundred feet per second of protection.

Thanks

I got a pair of these a couple months ago and have been very happy. The back of them is a looser knit fabric so they breath real well and I stay pretty cool in them. In winter/cold weather I wear my chaps, but you could just wear long underwear with them and probably be fine.

I also have a pair of their chaps that I really like. I got them due to their lighter weight, way more comfortable than my old pair I had for years. That's what prompted me to get their pants.

Thats interesting, i have an old set of chaps now, getting tired of them and want a more comfortable fit so just figured I'd get pants. Layering underneath is not an issue and even over if i got a long skidoo ride. I do that now.
Will have a look at the chaps but, i like what your saying about the pants. Thanks for the reply.
