I have Husky pants that I like a lot. I'm considering getting some chaps but I don't like the buckle straps. Seems like they would catch and snag. There is a European company that makes chaps with zippers up the back side. That seems like a tidier system. Does anyone know of any other companies that make zipper backs?

I might have to add zippers on my own.

Chaps

I do have a pair-they were bought through Lee Valley tools here in Ottawa. In all honest I prefer chainsaw pants, chaps never seem to sit right on my legs. I do think they are the answer is you are not cutting all the time, and it is very warm out-you can pull them on quickly and then remove them when you are finished with the saw, and back to a cooler pair of cotton work pants. Chainsaw pants are hot.
