I’ve been hand filing my saws for years, but can never get them as sharp as when they come back from the shop. This thing gets great reviews and is $30 from HF...seems like it’s worth trying.

Any feedback on the ease of use and quality of the job is appreciated. Looks pretty straightforward o. YouTube videos.

Any functionality for hitting rakers to tune depth?

The plastic frame and hinge flexes and more often than not it glances off the cutter. I picked up a knock-off Tecomec for 76 new off ebay and ive been very happy

I was challenged to try a bunch of inexpensive grinders. The HF was my least favorite of the bunch. I have learned that a lot of the reviews are either fake, or made by people whose opinions are not worth much (you can feel free to judge my opinions the same way if you choose!
