Does anyone know if a choker hook (the kind that almost closes on itself used to hitch logs) is available anywhere for 1/4 inch chain? A couple of forestry supply places and Baileys have such hooks for 3/8 inch chain , which is most common for normal choker duty. I guess I could adapt the larger hooks to the smaller chain using a series of hammerloks, but simpler works best in the woods.

Labonville sells the stuff that works with the tractor mounted forestry winches. Those are grade 70, 5/16. I would think that 1/4 might be too light for any sort of skidding.
