i've managed to put several grand away out of my paycheck this season and want to start my own tree business. i only found one whisper on ebay. 10 yrs old. over 2000 hours. six cylinder ford. anyone know what it's really worth?

I have seen some of them on e bay, they are worth 5 -7 k. Figure any chuck n duck is worth 3500 if it operates, regardless of condition.

There is another auction site called Iron Planet that may help you determine values, but you need to register.

And look at Ebay closed auctions. That can be a determining factor.

My ole 1980 Chipmore was $4k, and that was a deal around here. Simple 300 inline 6 with a drum, no other features unless you count the key...

I bought this asplundh about 5 yrs ago for 3750.00 then painted it.Except for a new clutch about 3yrs ago which is the same as a ford 8N tractor less than 100.00 its been a good chipper. Its role now is as a backup or whenever we chip cedar or redtips.
