Looks to me like it must tore completely down.
Pressure/vac test would tell the true tale on the sealThe crank seal looks good to me, I'd just get a new drum bearing, pump, gear and clutch.

Looks like you sort-of lucked out. What happened to the oil pump? No photos? Was it obviously melted? Everything that you removed needs to be replaced.Tore down the clutch and Oiler. Bearing/seal looks ok to me, i.e., not obviously burned or damaged. The worm drive seemed a bit dark and crusty, but clutch bearing spins ok. Oiler spins free and appears clear. Though I think it leaks. Most obvious problem to me is the clutch springs do not hold on to anything. No tension st all, which seems off. Pictures attached. Unless someone sees something else it looks like a new clutch and drum kit. Maybe worm/ bearing.
Oiler was fine it seems. Loose, no melting at all. Clean. I took a picture but since it had no obvious issues I left it out. I’ll try running when I get back to shop later today. Thanks.Looks like you sort-of lucked out. What happened to the oil pump? No photos? Was it obviously melted? Everything that you removed needs to be replaced.
However, before spending that money try running it with the clutch and oiler removed and see how it runs. If it runs properly you got lucky. If not pull the muffler and post photos of the piston visible through the exhaust port.
It runs ok. Not sure if it is any worse than before. Bit rougher than I might remember. I ordered the parts so we'll see how it does once they come in.Looks like you sort-of lucked out. You can see some darkening on the shaft out where the bearing rides, bit otherwise nice and clean. Can sort of see it in one of the pictures.Clutch drum bearing surface is mucked up and bearing is toast.
How is the bearing surface on the crank?
Is it a brake cleaner? With it idling and clutch off, using the little straw, squirt some brake clean right at the intersection of the crank and bearing to check the seal.if the saw dies instantly, new seal required.

Sorry gogle translate
Just make sure that you use the NON-chlorinated variety of brake cleaner which won't attach plastics like the chlorinated variety. With it idling and clutch off, using the little straw, squirt some brake clean right at the intersection of the crank and bearing to check the seal.if the saw dies instantly, new seal required.
