I think the guy from the tree shop next door stole one of my lawn signs- it just happened to be strategically placed so he can see it on his ride into work. Is there some sort of wireless vidio camera that I could put on the nearby telephone pole to catch his fat a$$ I wonder?? That would be fun, lol. About 14 years ago I used to work for this fat pig. I figure if I could catch him I can send him a bill-either that or put his fat a$$ on u tube stealing a sign complete with love handles flabbing about, lol. Seriously though, it would only need a day or two battery life. Any help would be greatly appriciated, thanks in advance MDS.

I've seen them I think at Radio Shack. I don't know the transmit range.

Depending on how much you want to spend you can hook them up to your computer or dvr.

I think they even make one with night vision.

Or use a infrared camera hunters use to monitor game trails. Only take pictures when there is action.

I have a Wildview 2.0 digital game camera.

I think it cost around $60.00 and you can turn off the flash.

It will store a few hundred pics on a 512 SD card.

Look for game cameras. Motion activated, many days of battery life. Just what you're looking for.

I hope you catch him!

This is kinda like what Mark said with the game cameras, but with this setup it will take the picture and then send the image to your cell phone or e-mail. I was just reading about this today and thought about it myself for putting out at my property to see who is dumping meth waste and 4-wheeling back there.

I knoww several guys who trash the competitions signs if they are on street corners. Especially the "Discounters"who put them on everywhere. "community service, picking up trash"

Now you got peopel stealing your yard signs too? You need a nice clean quiet place to take a dump and take it easy. The Dan has hooked you up, got some fresh paper and you know what you can do with that pole. All I know? It wasn't me.:)

Wouldn't that beat all? You know if some dill doe puts a sign with his name on it up on a street corner, phone pole, road way , etc and The Dan decides he wants it there is not a whole lot anybody can do about.
The Dan's favourite ones say " town watch, theives beware".

ALL SIGNS here must be registered, it's an offence to put signs anywhere without the proper approval and paperwork ... so maybe check your facts first.

It's rare for signage to be unpoliced too, imagine that, no sign laws means visual pollution out of control.

If that were the case maybe the guy you are crapping all over is actually helping you out, alternatively he could have taken pictures and "dobbed" you in and you be fined for every sign.;)

Not much of that in the U.S. Just a few of the more socialist leaning neighborhoods.

Registered?
