I work for a large landscape contractor who is trying (and thats about all) to get into the Aboriculture side of landscape....anyhow..... we run a Conehead chipper at work, its all right. I'd take a good 'ol Vermeer over it anyday, but it gets the job done, when the Mechanic doesn't have it!
Its not very old, only about 600hrs. on it, its already gone through a few Hyd. motors on the feed rollers, the auto feed no longer works, and we have no local dealer support, and our mechanics couldnt find a lamp in the dark, so it will probably never get fixed. Any way, I'd rather have a Vermeer.
Oh, I should mention...we are the largest Landscape co. in Wis, yet the owner won't spend a penny on anything, but yet he wants to become VERY! competitave in the Tree Industry!
