a budy of mine rented the 9" for a day last year. it worked well enough, the construction seemed kind of chinsy though, i don't know how it would hold up to commercial use.
 
A 9'' model? I have'nt seen that anywhere...
to be honest, Yanks would piss themselves laughing at any UK built chipper, most of them need the bearings and shafts rebuilding after 2 - 3 years use...
 
Yu know i got to thinking about that on the way up to vermont today. the chipper al rented was a bear cat or somthing like that, not the baileys version. It had real similar colors though. When i first saw it i thought for sure he bought it from bailey's.

as an aside my fiance' planned on spending the whole weekend up here and going back monday night, i kind of forgot and scheduled to work manday with al. normally it wouldnt be an issue cept ive been putting him off for a couple of weeks already. any suggestion or help would be very much appreciated.
