We had a big wind storm here a few days ago. 70+ mph winds. I watched one of our globe willows get uprooted. I thought the other one was ok, but upon inspection it suffered two cracks in the trunk. I know it's unlikely, but is there a chance of saving this tree?

Tough to tell exactly from my phone, but that looks like more than a crack, more like you lost a couple of codominant stems. On first glance, without seeing the rest of the tree, I would say you should remove the tree if there are any targets close by. If it's in the middle of nowhere, my opinion would be different.

Willow is a very poor compartmentalizer and wont fight decay well at all. No viable treatments available. Probably a loss and perhaps a liability with a big split on a weak wooded tree
