i would like to know if poss how do you use a crankcase pressure tester and can you use them on strimmers and hedgetrimmers as well as chainsaws .i have purchased a tester but need some help on how to use it .i have an alpina saw which i think hase a crankcase leak .many thx to you all that reply

You can use it on all two stokes..

Basically, loosen the muffler, slide a piece of rubber down behind it and re-tighten. Same with the carb.
Find a place to connect to the crankcase (plug hole, Impulse line or whatever like a carb adapter) and pressurize it to 8psi. Check for leaks with soapy water. If none, do the same with vacuum... but use oil around the crank seals and see if it sucks in.
