IMG_2211.JPG Ok boys last question, guy wants me to replace fuel lines and primer. Ok no big deal. You guessed it I totally forgot which line goes where???

Followed the above diagram and now when i press the bulb gas comes oozing out around the bottom of the carb. Then the bulb goes rock hard and wont compress.

Im confused???

Update sorry lads been busy with trade school and all.

Finally got the fuels lines hooked up the right way. But i think the primers squirting way to much fuel into the carb. now the thing is hard to start and runs like trash. Time for a carb kit????? Crank seals???

The primer is actually a purge bulb. It removes air from the carb and replaces with fuel, so it's not flooding saw. Carb could be stiff metering diaphragm or poor closure of needle into seat or bad check valve. I don't bother with a RB kit for these carbs. New AM carbs cost $8-$12 on ebay.
