I have rooted what someone told me is a Curley Willow. I would like to plant it but need some information on what type conditions it needs. Could you briefly tell me about this. Does it grow into large tree, or more like small ornamental tree?

Thank you for your help.

Probably a corkscrew willow, they root easily in water from cuttings. Around here,Va. they grow to about 30 ft. high, they are messy and break real easy so I wouldn't plant it somewhere you don't want to clean up constantly.Neat trees though, I've got one growing in a pot, at least that way it can't get too big and make a mess:)

And I third the the motion, lotsa cankers in large limbs. more deadwood then a weeping willow but so cool looking while they last. And you can cut the tree to a stump and let it crow up again.
