Does anyone know this seller?

For those that don't know, I design, fabricate and sell custom stainless felling spikes mostly for Husky saws. Have been for about 4 years now. Mostly sold through ebay but every now and then, I get a message through websites & email with interest. I sold a set of spikes for the 346xp to this ebay member only to find out he/she copied my design and has since fabricated steel spikes and has sold them also on ebay. It's a dog eat dog world....

I don't know the seller, but I do know that when it comes to humans, there is no shortage of a$$holes willing to screw over anyone/everyone for the sake of a dollar. Perhaps you could launch a querie with Ebay and explain the situation and see how they respond?

I have never patented anything so I don't know how you would go about protecting your designs. I actually like your felling dawgs you designed for the 262xp, but being in Canada makes the shipping cost to get them prohibitive. There are advantages to living up here, but cheap commerce certainly isn't one of them.

I doubt if you could get a patent, or if it would be worth the trouble even if possible.
I'm not a lawyer, but have several in the family, and they agree that it can be expensive, and difficult to do, especially if it is something that is easy to reproduce and hard to show that your design is "unique" or different.

Bad part is, his are 1/2 price of yours. Typical buyer on eBay will buy his.
