Had one of "those days". This afternoon I abandoned the priority list and got out a couple saws, put some 24" bars on them and cut some rounds. Ran a tank through an MS460 and then got out the maul and started splitting. A couple hours of cutting and splitting and I felt tired but a lot better. This is wood I should have had cut and stacked last August. At least I'm behind on everything and not just firewood, lol.

i like to have help when im splitting though i took alot of the work out of it it helps to have someone to load the lift for me lol

That looks like a beast of a splitter. I used a monster maul and a mid weight maul today. I do have a hydraulic splitter but split the majority of wood by hand. It's faster and better exercise.

i built it last winter and the seat was so my buddy with a bad knee could sit and run it and be easier on him but he still refuses to run it weve split about 20 stacked loads so far of oak cherry maple and gum but when split it it rips the wood apart
