I haven't even looked at that little task since I posted this thread. First I'm gonna' haf'ta figure-out how I'm gonna' get the welder up to the house... my stinger lead is about 15 feet short of reaching that far. Likely I'll haf'ta make a new, longer power cord... I've got about 20 feet of new 4-gauge/4 wire left-over from something?? I'll probably stop at the welding shop I worked at some years ago... talk with the "special job" guy, pick-up some pointers and a couple sticks of the rod he recommends.
