Help!
I found a pair of db 355 saws.
Does anyone have any info on these dinosaurs?
Between the two I think I can make one but I would love a little guidance please to ease the way.
Thank you.

Had a good look tonight.
Both p/c look good.
Enough parts to make one complete.
No spark...
Let my trials begin!
Starting with where the F am I going to find 1/2 inch chain?
It's hard enough to get 404 these days.

File the points and go. The oiler is kind of neat on these - feeds to the chain through a hole in the sprocket. The old float carb was set at a 45 deg angle so you could turn the saw for sideways cutting. Straight up, it was 45 to the right, turned so the bar is flat, 45 to the left. Not greatly collectible IMO but still a neat one to have. I seem to remember mine having a smaller cyl. gasket than the 77cc engine.

Funny you posted this, came across this Bradley on my local Craigslist today.

I'm back and so is my 355!
Two made one but it started fourth pull.
Crazy 60 year old backwards runner runs flawlessly.
And stunningly loud...
I was even able to keep the original mo-power spark plug!
Only thing missing is a 1/2" chain and air filter.
Anyone know where to go for one of these round can style filters?
I don't need an original but don't know what they are called to look.
Also, what's with the key hole in the bar?

Good to know.
I have one contact a road trip away.
I've been wanting to see his collection anyways so will try that first.
If not, evil bay it is!
Thank you.
