I have a Dayton 4Z252 which is the same as a Poulan 5200. Very nice low hour saw, way less than normal paint missing, good spur drive sprocket (I think the one it came with), a very nice original 24" bar in very good shape with a good chain. I have gone through the fuel system and replaced all the lines, installed new carb kit, cleaned the carb, a new fuel filter, and new seals were installed about 4 years ago . It needs nothing and is a 100% mechanical saw and about 96% on cosmetics. I will include a new rim drive setup for the new owner.

I have taken this to some GTG's and that is all, never did I use it for work in the 5 years I've owned it. In 5 years it may have 2 hours of run time from me and I'm betting a lot less.

$625 with the buyer paying 1/2 the ride in the lower 48. Anywhere else and we can negotiate the shipping.

Wow,
What a rare and unique Saw.

What mount is the bar?

Automatic Oiler?

Were those made in Shreveport?

How does it compare to a Husky 2100?

Automatic Oiler? Yup

Were those made in Shreveport?Yup

How does it compare to a Husky 2100? It won't run with a 2100 because it gives up 15cc but it will run with most all the 85cc saws out there. Not a high speed saw but it does have tons of torque

So a 385 of the 1970's?

Awesome!!

Would you consider this a collector's saw?

I have been asked to post additional pictures and the compression is 182 on a cylinder that hasn't had fuel in it since October 2013. As you can tell there is a healthy puddle of oil on my tailgate where it was running.IMG_20160418_170605669 - Copy.jpg IMG_20160418_170740542 - Copy.jpg IMG_20160418_170812922_HDR - Copy.jpg IMG_20160418_170831033_HDR - Copy.jpg IMG_20160418_170831033_HDR.jpg IMG_20160418_171432632_HDR.jpg IMG_20160418_172228669.jpg IMG_20160418_172300282.jpg IMG_20160418_172302066.jpg IMG_20160418_172442520.jpg
