Dead Stihl 041AV

Hi everybody,
First post on here- hope someone can help. My trusty old Stihl 041AV finaly died. Top edge of piston crown broke off and the unsupported top piston ring then broke and ripped a deep scratch in the bore. Does anyone have a spare cylinder and piston so that my old pal might live again? Anything considered

Maybe someone here will have one, but cheapstihlparts on Ebay has tons of Stihl stuff. He may be able to fix you up.

Can't seem to find cheapstihlparts on Ebay except the odd old complete machine. Is cheapstihlparts someone who regularly sells Stihl stuff?

Remember, check your bore diameter and let him know what it is. It may not matter and just be a bolt on deal. I don't know anything about 041s.

Heck, I was going to recommend that you let it rest in peace, and get something more modern. LOL
