Saw that but they have no stock and if they did its over $32.00 for 1 chain.

Looked at my 16" Dewalt 60v saw and the chain looks exactly the same and the same as my 20v 12". The 16" uses a Oregon 56R chain and has 28 cutter teeth. Would I assume the Oregon chain for the 20" with 34 cutter teeth be a 68R?

What does the bar say on the side for chain size? Look close, nearest to the saw.

If a .050 3/8LP 68DL? Then Oregon 91PX068G.

.043 3/8LP 68DL? Oregon does not make a 90PX in 68DL so that would be an odd length. I do not think it is .043.

This review says 3/8 x .050 but the specs are light so they may have just left out the LP.

The Home Depot listing for the Dewalt chain (that is out of stock) says 68 DL. But it certainly could be wrong.

For a 3/8LP .050" you have a few choices:
Oregon 91PX is a good choice for a homeowner. 91PX068G for 68DL or 91PX072G for a 72DL. Safety chain. Modified semi chisel.
91PXL also a safety chain but not as much. Does not come in 68DL though (66 or 70).
91VXL is a more aggressive non safety chain. Semi chisel.

You could also use a Stihl 63PS3 safety chain or 63PS non safety chain. 63PS is a fantastic chain, very hard and cuts fast.

For my saw I would probably seek out 63PS first and then 91VXL second. But you said it is for someone else, so judge their experience accordingly...

Here is one place that has the Oregon chains in stock.
