does anyone know this old saw ? it says Poulan

Hi ! I found this while cleaning up my granpa's barn. I'm Mac guy and don't know anything about Poulan.

I would like to ask expart here.

By the way saw has good compression and spark, but pull starter doesn't work. looks like allparts are there, and functioning , but it keep slipping and not catching the starter cup attached to the flywheel.

Have a look at the clutch cover to see if there's a 2 digit model number there, like 43.

Really nice condition saw.

well, I need starter cup which is attached to the flywheel. Looks like the starter ratchet is not catching . anyone has this parts ?

I can't help with the cup.

Any oil on the fiber washers in the pawl assembly can cause slipping. (called clutch disc in the pic below)

That starter assembly was made by Fairbanks Morse.

They are out there. Not sure what the PN is for the cup.
