Sold Dolmar 5100s $265

Runs and cuts great. My heated Dolkita showed up so I no longer need this one. $265 for the powerhead with either a 3/8 or .325 rim on it, I have some cutting attachment options if you need one.

Last month Amazon had one of their price quirks a couple times on the heated Makita 5105s. I missed the first one after Black Friday, but it dropped again and I got one for four bills to my door.

I had no reason to believe the price wouldn't get back down. Had I known I would have bought all three and shared the wealth. I'm trying to a little by offering this one up at a good price. It's in good shape and it's a great runner.

Working on it yet, seems he is getting things in order and getting back into saws after dealing with his personal loss. I just try and listen when he needs to talk. He is a good friend.

That has been my opinion as well. My new Makita came with a 64dl "18'" 3/8 bar, but with the giant spikes it's effectively a 16". I think the amazing AV and the broad power band on the Dolkitas lends itself to bigger 3/8 bars. I preferred a 16".325 on my old 2153. I should have both again soon so some experimentation is in order.

I recommend 16" or 18" 3/8 on this saw, but it's also fun to embarrass some Farm Bosses with a 20" "blade".
