Dolmar Coil Failures

Hey I am wondering if I could get some feed back on Dolmar Coil failures that people have had. I am especially curious about the 2012 and 2013 models. The period shortly after they came out with the MPI coils. Can anyone who has a coil failure please reply. Thanks!

I have replaced about 3 coils on these models PS-421, PS-510, PS-5105

I was always told the air gap between the coil an flywheel was 00010. Had a generator that was giving me the same trouble the guy would send a coil an would crap out . He blamed my engine . Then we talk about air gap think it was 46 metric was about ooo17 standard . I had one saw that could get rid of coil like it was its job . Stuff is working better with this air gap
