Will a MAKITA DPC7300 cylinder kit for the concrete saws fit of a Dolmar/makita 6400 chain saw? Or is there something different a bout the jug??

There was a discussion a time ago about this swap. I remember that you can use the piston but not the cylinder.

There was something difference in the av spring boses and about the muffler mounting.

piston is the same, cylinder is different and you wouldnt want to use one even if it would fit. chop saws are designed for a much lower operating RPM than a chainsaw.
Lower rpm with massive torque aint not bad.

spark plug location, a/v mount, muffler mounting, cylinder fin shape/size is all different.

Lower rpm with massive torque aint not bad.
7000 RPM isnt much fun to cut with when you know the actual saw cylinder would be pulling 2-4k more rpms.
