Anyone ever get a possessed H screw?

I was cutting and lost count of my turns on the H screw when I was making an adjustment.. Im not sure if it was me being a meathead and twisting somethin wrong or if the screw started on its own but it was turning while i was revving /cutting. I couldnt figure out why it kept 4 stroking hard then bogging a little then I popped the cap and watched it spin in front of me.

Some sort of spring or washer I broke? Ill IPL it now and check but I was wonderin if anyone had did it before.

Ahhh..

So apparently I shouldve trimmed that #######ed limiter tab and not chucked it. Oh well ill fix or get a replacement hahah.
