A pond was put near an old existing weeping willow tree. Many limbs are dead. Many are full of lush vegetation. Some limbs fell during a storm. The tree is very large and near a home.
The home owners assoc. chair asked a tree company here about the tree and he said it was dying and suggested it be removed.
If is a very beautiful tree. If it is trimmed, how long before the entire tree would die? How long does a dying willow tree take to die? It is extremely wide around the base of the tree and lovely. It seems a shame to remove it entirely.
Any suggestions?
