This saw uses a 39mm x 1.5 mm piston ring. I found that the piston ring for a McCOLLUCH CS380 fit perfectly.

That seems like a Sears (which isn't very popular here, however they work pretty well). I believe MTD makes them, so you can try Sears which sometimes has the lowest prices but not any complex parts:

I got the ring off Ebay (China). It shipped quickly, looked good, fit good, so far works good.

I've got a Earth Quake tiller that was given to me.

It now runs but it's China junk and it speaks/squeaks chinse language when it running, but does not cause any EARTH Quakes in this area. It requires that it be handled gently and with TLC. When it quits again it's headed for the Tiller salvage.
Lots difference in the prices of replacement parts on-line. Appears China is cloning their clone parts.
