So how does this compare to the cs-490 and cs-590 ? Its an "X" saw ??? and its about the same price as the 590, but 10cc less

Same platform as a 490, but more power out of the box. And an aluminum handlebar.

A good deal smaller and lighter than a 590.

No not as fast as the 530 , but not far and the 501p feel realy more lighter in the hands .
