What saw would you recomend if they were the same price ?
Echo CS5000, Husky 55 Rancher or Husky 350. I will be using the
saw to cut anywere between 5 to 15 cords a year.

I don't know about the echo unit, never ran one. The 55R is a great firewood saw and look at your screen-name, get the 55! But buy it from a dealer, not Lowe's or Sears, you will be glad you did when you need service.

I have a Echo CS-510 and a Jonsered 2050. Guys claim that Huskies and Jonsereds are basically the same saws built by the same company.

IMO, the Echo seems to be a better designed and better built saw.

If you have a dealer nearby, you may want to check with them to see if they will do any warranty repair on a saw you buy elsware (they should). If so, check out commercialcutters.com and some other online sources. They are pretty cheap and you'll get your saw in a week or less.

All three are good saws, I would buy from the local dealer where you think you will get good service when needed.

I might slightly favor the 55 in this comparison.
