I'm about to rebuild an echo cs670 top end and was looking for advice on getting more power out of the saw.
Is there larger cylinder that could fit this saw?
Different carb?
Should I port it? If so where at how much?
Muffle mod?
Air filter/ intake changes?
This will be my first time really modifying and changing a saw for more power and I can't find much information on it .
Maybe not to many options with this saw
Not sure but any advice ,suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I don't think you will find aftermarket cylinder/piston for the 670.

I would start with checking the squish of your top-end to see if you can run it without base gasket.
the idea is getting some more compression.

In general the Echo's mufflers are quite restricted, so open it up would decrease the restriction and increase the power of your engine.
